Fitness and Wellness:

Pilates and Private Instruction
Private instruction is a helpful option for clients to access their fitness level and address individual concerns. We highly recommend that new clients take at least one Private Pilates session before signing up for Group Equipment Classes. Introductory workshops are also offered throughout the year.  These sessions usually run 3-4 weeks.  Level 1 Equipment class are also an option for those that are currently injury free.  If you are still recovering from an injury, please schedule a private session before enrolling into any classes.

Small Group Classes

  • Pilates Equipment Classes
We highly recommend that new clients take at least one Private Pilates session before signing up for Equipment Classes. Other options include enrolling in an Introductory workshop workshop or to register for a Level 1 Equipment class. Register for classes through our online scheduling system – Mindbody Online.
  • Floor Classes (Live stream only.  We do not currently offer in-studio mat classes)
There are a variety of floor classes from beginner to advanced levels. Another way to begin Pilates is with a beginning mat class, back to health floor class or an *all levels* mat class. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact the studio. We can advise on how to start.

Back to Health Classes (BTH)
Back to Health classes include both equipment and floor classes. Classes are designed for clients transitioning from physical therapy and is also open to beginners wanting a gentle approach to movement. Classes are small in size and structured to provide clients a safe and supported environment. Instructors provide an adaptable sequence of mindful exercises that emphasize core strengthening, joint health, and overall flexibility. Classes are marked with (BTH) on the online scheduling system.

Healthy Bones Program

The Healthy Bones (HB) program is a combination of workshops and classes focused on healthy, safe movement for clients with osteopenia and osteoporosis.  Our popular, weekly HB classes are fun, safe, and challenging for those wanting to build bones of steel! In addition to modified classical Pilates exercises, emphasis is placed on maximizing strength through weight bearing exercise, improving balance and optimizing posture. You’ll leave each session taller than you arrived! Classes are taught by physical therapists and master Pilates instructors with special training in bone health.

Pilates-Based Physical Therapy

Our network is extensive and we work with many clients referred by Duke Sports Med, Duke Athletics, and many local physicians. We assess and treat the whole person – not just an injury or symptom – through Pilates exercises and traditional physical therapy methods. If you are wanting to try our Pilates-Based Physical Therapy (PBPT) approach, be sure to check with your physician. The studio does not file insurance and provides all the appropriate documents for clients to file on their own. At InsideOut Body Therapies, we are particularly adept at identifying and correcting problematic postural and movement patterns that can cause you pain. We believe that you can feel better when you move better.

Please visit our Pilates-Based Physical Therapy (PBPT) page for additional information, and studio forms.  To schedule, please in**@in********************.com">email or call the studio – 919-361-0104.
