How Life Moves

Speaking the Language of the Movement Brain

A workshop for movement teachers and bodyworkers.

In the moments before we move, our actions, gestures, and qualities of conversation are largely pre-determined. "How Life Moves" is about getting to know and learning to influence the subtle movements that proceed action. In the contemplative and dynamic space of the workshop, you will have the time to interrupt and unlearn self-defeating body habits and learn the skills to continue doing so in everyday life and with your clients.

We will explore the body's capacity to generate new movement pathways towards resolving common musculoskeletal complaints, such as lower back, shoulder, and neck pain. Engaging the power of perception and imagination, we will uncover the body's native intelligence, freeing your capacity and flexibility to meet the physical and emotional challenges of your clients in new and creative ways regardless of your technical approach.
