Nicole Quenelle
Nicole discovered a love for mindful movement in college through fencing and tae kwon do. Known as "the family klutz" as a child, movement later in life helped her find a center she never knew she had, along with greater concentration, awareness and confidence. She began applying mind-body movement techniques to her artistic life as a theater artist as well. Along the way, she found yoga to be centering, grounding and wholly transformative in many spheres -- creative, personal, spiritual, and physical. A born perfectionist, yoga has helped her find peace with the uncompetitive present moment, something she hopes to pass on to her students. She has studied primarily Anusara yoga for more than three years, has completed more than 80 hours of immersion training, and is currently enrolled in an Anusara-based 200-hour teacher training program. In addition to yoga, Nicole also teaches movement workshops for actors, acts in regional theatre, and works as a freelance writer. |
